Orchestra and Choir of the Carlo Felice Theater in Genoa, Conducted by Plácido Domingo

Marta Domingo returns to the Royal Opera House Muscat with the successful production of La Traviata, featuring Verdi’s iconic music under the baton of Plácido Domingo. This opera was first performed at the Royal Opera House Muscat in 2019 and is set in the world of indulgence during the 1920s—a time of economic instability and social change. It tells the story of a modern woman surrounded by the wealthy, navigating her complex journey in search of true love.

Yusif Eyvazov will perform the role of Alfredo, while Juliana Grigoryan makes her debut as Violetta, accompanied by the Choir and Orchestra of the Carlo Felice Theater in Genoa. The production will be further enriched by the Antonio Gades Company, bringing the vibrant art of flamenco dance to the operatic spectacle.
