A'SHARQIYAH UNIVERSITY

The University of Sharqiya is a private academic institution located in the Wilayat of Ibra, in the North Sharqiya Governorate of the Sultanate of Oman. It was established in May 2009 by Ministerial Decision No. 78/2009 issued by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (formerly the Ministry of Higher Education). The university commenced its academic activities in the fall semester of the 2010 academic year.
